Sr. Cybersecurity Consultant

iSecurity Inc. is looking to hire a Consultant to our Cyber Security Unit. The successful candidate will join our Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance team. This position would be a person that has deep security knowledge in technology coupled with business acumen.

Cyber Security Challenge – Pass the test and get and interview!

Candidates that have an interest in completing one of our code challenges can click on the below link and complete the test remotely. The timed test takes 90 minutes, and your score is directly updated to HR and the Hiring manager. Should you pass the test, you will be contacted for next steps.

You needn’t worry if you don’t get all questions completed/correct, we will review partially completed evaluations if what you have provided is on the right track
Evaluations are only one of many methods used method we use to screen candidates and not receiving a passing score does not preclude you from being considered for interview/hire.

  • Act as a key Security Lead and be responsible for completeing Enterprise Security Risk Assessments, which will include conducting logical Vulnerability and safeguard assessment, developing short and medium term security roadmaps for client facing engagements.
  • Act has a SME for number of Security engagements which will require input for secure architecture and Incident Response.
  • Deep experience with all facets of cloud security, including identity and access management, monitoring, auditing, preventative architectures, data encryption, Mitigation, and Penetration Testing.
  • Conduct security reviews of planned cloud migration initiatives across the organization and produce high quality Threat models for cloud environments clearly articulating risks.
  • Research and maintain an extensive knowledge base of current cloud technology advancements, trends and directions and identify the potential threats and exposures.
  • Participate in security architecture discussions to work through risk, security, and compliance concerns.
  • Serve as a senior cyber security consultant to the various lines of businesses by providing subject matter expertise as it relates to new cloud platforms and emerging cloud technologies.
  • Educate and communicate cloud security requirements, policies, standards and procedures to business/internal stakeholders as it relates to projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Proven knowledge of information technology security, trends, leading practices, regulatory and industry standard compliance issues (PCI, NIST, ISO, IEC, SABSA).

  • A bachelor’s degree or College diploma in computer science, cyber-security or a related field including engineering, mathematics, IT/IM.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) accreditation is necessary.
  • Nice to have – Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), Certified Information Security Manager certification (CISM), Certified in Risks and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Qualification in Internal Audit Leadership (QIAL) / IIA (diploma or advanced diploma)/ISO27001 (auditor or implementer), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Security+ and CSA+.
